MMQB: What J.J. McCarthy/Ty Simpson Conversation Says About Our Absurdly Impatient Culture
Preach. Fans are worse than they've ever been in this manner. 🙄 When KOC moves JJ or announces he's not a viable starter, that's when I'll give up on JJ because I believe in KOC. Otherwise?

The Vikings do not need to dump McCarthy. They need to determine whether issues that held him back in 2025 are terminal. Signing Murray is a good way to do it
Honestly, I dont know if signing K1 is a good way to do it or not? But the Vikings had very little choice but to sign him for a year try out. I suppose we have to hope a competition helps both and somehow if K1 wins, a year on the bench helps JJM.
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!Â
I think people think that Starting QB is like CEO of a company and you’re only allowed to have one, and if you want to make a change at QB, either temporary or permanently, that means that you have to “fire” the old one.
There’s a myriad of reasons on why “firing” JJM now is just a dumb decision and maybe it would be different if the return value in a trade was something decent, but there’s no real indications that teams are offering real value to try and get him.
