I think they have a chance to be a great duo. Last November I wanted Banks for the Vikings, but then the combine made me a bit reserved. I was thrilled when we picked him anyways. Banks talent is undeniable.

Big C has been holding his ground also. All last year we got torched up the middle until the end of the season when Hargrave and Allen realized they were going to not get resigned and had to actually work to earn another paycheck. It worked. GB gave Hargrave a 2 year 23M contract and Allen got a 2 year 25M contract from the Bengals.
Im so glad to be done with that dead weight and Kelly at Center. Fries is still sucking so all 4 of our big FA signings last year have bombed.

I cooled way off on Banks as the draft got closer, was more of a Woods fan by that point. 18 was high for Woods though.
Was very surprised we didnt take Lemon or Theileman at 18

I'd say Banks is ahead of where Jordan Davis was after two games his rookie season. Davis didn't really get past his stamina issues until his 3rd season, and his breakout didn't come until season 4. Banks has a lot to learn, but if Davis is your benchmark, he's ahead of schedule. IMO
