I think Wentz is pretty bad but I cannot put the overthrow of Jefferson on Wentz this time. Jets was held and stumbled-almost fell down-before taking a moment to regain his stride. Not surprised he could not catch up to Wentz's pass. And there is no way Wentz could have adjusted for the stumble.

Apparently they really downgraded a lot on missed tackles or flags. PFN grades were more in line with what your eyes told you.

This is why PFF is not accurate for complex assignments. They are a decent baseline, but Turner was playing the scheme, his job was more likely to contain and wait for help. So it wasn't a missed tackle, but breaking down and forcing CW off his spot.

I agree about that play. The video even shows he was held & mentioned that it would've been a TD if not for being held. I took it as they were referring to last year too. "His QBs are missing him when he's wide open, making his stats look that much worse." Though, I could be wrong.

Teams that won the overtime coin toss are 0-3 this year

There have been three overtime games this season, and all three times, the team that won the overtime coin toss lost the game.

As the NFL has changed its overtime rules, one of the league’s priorities was de-emphasizing the coin toss. Sudden death overtime fell out of favor largely because of the big advantage it gave to the team winning the toss, and the NFL wanted an overtime format that wouldn’t make winning the coin toss important.

This year, it seems to be working.

Three players were fined in Week 1 for fouls in one of the five categories the NFL and NFLPA designated as counting towards a suspension:

Bills S Sam Franklin ($9,425 for a blindside block)

Dolphins CB Chris Johnson ($17,911 for a hip-drop tackle)

Packers S Evan Williams ($7,087 for a hit on a defenseless player)

Three fouls in any one category results in a one-game suspension. The players can appeal the fines.
