The one constant is KC. Maybe turn the play calling to Frank Smith? He went away from what had worked the last 11 games. Passing on the FG was just stupid.

Getting there as well. KOC can still call a good game, but Murray won't throw the ball. Not sure what you do with that. Wentz isn't the answer, but right now he looks better than Murray.

And yes, passing up a sure FG to try an emotionally amped up D on 4th down is beyond stupid. Take the points, let the emotions fade and finish the game.

But I wager KOC wasnt confident Murra6could put another drive together.

This is why I was fine with going for it. We would have still been trailing and scoring drives are few and far between this year.

I think Murray can still figure this out given enough leash, but we all knew he was going to have to wake up for the next 5 weeks, and he sure napped through and failed his first test.

As bad? I think it's worse. At least last year we could attribute the poor games to JJ McCarthy's inexperience. But shit, we haven't even had the JJM highs with Kyler. It's been mediocre to downright bad QB play for almost two months.

This offense is absolutely pathetic. Starts with KOC's play calling. Run offense is offensive. Murray keeps missing open receivers. It's really painful to watch.

Last year the offense stunk but we had hope for the future. A direction. The idea- real or otherwise- that we were taking lumps for a greater good. This offense just stinks and is currently is a rudderless mess.

Much of which could be attributed to a young QB with no experience making mistakes

What we’re seeing this year is WORSE considering who is leading the offense

Darnold wasn't shit until he got a full season here. Maybe it happens maybe it dont, but its pretty fucking obvious the current plan with Murray is a massive fail. Maybe a little bench time would do murray some good, obviously KOCs plan to take away any threat to his jobs wasnt the answer.

Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

I know he's a slow statue, but he can be a game manager and string a few plays together. Murray can't hit shit on schedule or off.

That's the sad part. He's still better than Murray. The only time this offense really had anything going this year, Wentz was the QB.

We need to trade for another pass catching starting TE and run 2 TE sets for Murray to succeed. It will completely mask his inabilities.

With Murray struggling you are stuck with Wentz if you are going to make a change. Wouldn't this be the ideal time to give JJ a shot? I really thought they would keep him with that in mind. He wasn't costing them anything.

I am sure he was a huge Murrabator that will now look to gaslight and not take accountability.

What exactly would you like me to take accountability for?

The sum of the parts is less than the whole. That’s on coaching. We’re not maximizing our talent. We went away from what had worked the last 330+ days and 11 consecutive wins. That’s all on coaching.

That is right, the sum of the parts is less than the whole, when it comes to our offense. We have a lot of talent, but those parts are not being optimized due to poor game planning, play-calling, game management and personnel decisions and those are directly affected the most by the coach's decisions and the quarterback's decisions. We do not have the right quarterback to operate the system and have not for some time and that lies squarely on the GM and the Head Coach. Funny how that script flips when viewing the defensive side of the ball, where their results show that the whole is greater than the sum of the parts and is a well-oiled machine. Wild how we are still stuck in offensive purgatory with below average to bad to at times inept QB play after all of the QB turmoil since KOC arrived and the associated fuss of getting it right. At this point, who else is to blame if not the guy whose fingerprints are all over every lateral or backwards move along the path that led us in a circle back to square one?

Going to give you this warning to stop making everything personal.

You were right, no one is happy with the current situation. But the continued personal shots won't be tolerated.

Yep. Tilt your head and

“KO has had to deal with 13 different starting quarterbacks! (Or whatever the number is)”

Starts to look like

“KO’s had 13 quarterbacks to try with and we’re somehow still at square one”

You know, I can handle winning ugly. Don't need the greatest show on turf the entertain me.
But many of us had an idea that KM wasn't a fit for this offense. But who wouldn't want to give him a shot for veteran minimum.
But this isn't the I told you so post, just shocked how ugly it could actually be. I had an idea what the response to our first loss would be.
But to see Jefferson so frustrated. To see Murray look live a HS JV quarterback facing a Flores type D. I just dont get how it can be that hard to figure out something to compliment this D.

People get frustrated when they get behind something, even when you know it probably won't work, and it comes out this bad. Frustrating isn't even the word for me.
